I've had some bad experiences with salons but this one takes the cake. Smh
Horrible experience. I called to make an appointment for Saturday morning because I was going out in the evening. They told me I was going to be meeting with Hana and the price would be $70, for my silk press. I get there and they tell me that I'm actually meeting with Velma and that Hana is booked all day. I would've been OK with that but after reading their profiles on their website, it showed that Hana specialized in natural hair and that she was "phenomenonal" meanwhile, Velma specialized in children's hair. I'm not a child and I have thick natural hair so I obviously wanted Hana to do it.
Everyone that works at the salon is attentive and professional, they do not having waiting for services any length of time. I recieved one one attention by my stylist, when u make an appointment with them it's never overlapping with another client. Knowledgeable about hair care
After conversing with Hana and expressing this to her, she offered Kim (the owner) to do my hair instead. Kim agreed and told me to sit in the chair for a wash. She then comes back and tell me that her price would be $110... because she's "the owner". $110 For a silk press?!?!? I walked right out....
Love it! Everyone is so nice & I would follow Tameeka anywhere!!
Velma was great with my 6 year old daughter. She was patient and comforting.
